Our Background
Assistant Pastor: Nathan Pegram
When I was four years old, I made a profession of faith, accepting Christ as my Savior. I struggled with the assurance of my salvation until I was 18 years old, with only one week till graduation. I had told people how they could know for sure they could go to heaven when they died, yet I did not have that certainty. I spoke with my mom about this, then went to my room and began praying to God, asking Him to give me peace and to settle this matter once and for all. Whether I was saved when I was 4, 9, or 18, I know that on that day I gained the assurance of my Salvation! I realized that salvation was bound in one word... "Faith". I realized I just needed to take God at His Word, and that settled it for me!

When I was 12 years old, God called me to preach. I began preparing for this calling by taking every opportunity I had to learn, preach, and discover how God could use me. I attended West Coast Baptist College in 2012 and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Church Ministries, with a minor in Youth Ministries in 2016.
In 2017, I started my first Ministry as an Assistant/Youth Pastor at a small church in Virginia. I would accept a new role in 2018 in NC, after the passing of my Father-in-law, as an Assistant Pastor until 2019 when the church was merged with another church. My family and I began to attend my home church where I grew up in, Gospel Light Baptist Church. I served as a layman in the church as a RU Director, Children's Church Teacher, and Soul Winning Shuttle Director until 2025, when I accepted the role of Assistant Pastor here at Safe Harbor Baptist Church.

On January 16, 2016, Katie and I got married. The Lord has blessed us with three beautiful daughters, a son in heaven, and another little girl on the way! We are so excited to be here in Cochranville, Pennsylvania, and looking forward to ministering to the believers at Safe Harbor and reaching the lost in this area.
